Carmi Gillon - CV
Carmi Gillon was born in Jerusalem in 1950, and resides in Mevasseret Zion. He is married to Sari and is the father of three daughters. He has five grandchildren.
Carmi Gillon is descended from a renowned family of lawyers from the Rechavia neighborhood of Jerusalem. His grandfather, Gad Frumkin, was the only Jewish judge in the Supreme Court during the British Mandate, and was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University from the 1930's until his death. Gillon’s father, Colin, served as a State's Attorney and his mother, Saada, was the Deputy Legal Advisor to the government.
Gillon earned a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.A from Haifa University. He is a graduate of the National Defense College, and of the Harvard Business School – Advanced Management Program in the US. He has also participated in courses in management and public administration at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
Mr. Gillon has had a distinguished and varied career in both public service and in the business sector:
1972 – 1996: Command positions in the Israeli Security Service (Shin Bet)
1994 – 1996: Head of the Israeli Security Service
1997 – 2000: CEO of "Avner" Insurance Corporation
2000 – 2001: CEO of the Peres Peace Center
2001 – 2003: Ambassador of Israel to Denmark
2003 – 2007: Mayor of Mevasseret Zion
2007 – 2013: Vice President for External Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
2014 – the present: Chairman and CEO Carmi Gillon Ltd
2014 – the present: Chairman of CYTEGIC (Company which deals in cyber security)
2014 – the present: external Director of the Dan Hotels chain

Gillon’s book "Shabak in Tears" was published in 2000.
He is a frequent commentator on TV and radio and authors articles for the Israeli and international media. Gillon took part in the documentary film “The Gatekeepers” together with 5 colleagues – all former Heads of the Israeli Security Service (Shabak). The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 85th Academy Awards. Although it did not win, it has won awards at other important festivals.
Carmi Gillon has many years of experience as a lecturer in both Hebrew and English. He lectures around the world (mostly in the USA and Canada) and of course in Israel.
His lectures focus on security, politics and current affairs as well as general management, especially organizational management in times of crisis. His superlative knowledge and understanding of the Arab world, the Middle East and Israel's geopolitical situation is widely recognized.
Adi Gillon Edri - CV
Born in Jerusalem, December 1980.
Married to David + 2 sons.
Over the past few years, Adi has worked as Project Manager in various non-profit organizations.
In this capacity, over the last seven years she has set up and managed “The Castro Center for Excellence” in Bat Yam. The Center was established in the name of Aharon Castro, co-owner and founder of Castro, a prestigious clothing brand.
The Castro Center for Excellence serves to encourage and assist some 450 pupils in the town of Bat Yam, to achieve a higher quality school matriculation diploma, enabling them to fulfill their dreams. In addition, the Castro Center for Excellence instructs the pupils on topics such as entrepreneurship, personal excellence and contributing to the community.
Whilst working at the Castro Center for Excellence, Adi led and managed projects in various non-profit organizations, such as:
Ø The “Kelim Shluvim” association - an association which brings together a number of organizations which care for mentally handicapped artists who offer their work for sale.
Ø The Gallop association – a bridge to love and tolerance. An organization which helps youth at risk and those with disabilities via a unique method using horses and other animals.
As part of her work with these associations, Adi was involved with raising funds from government agencies and foundations, day to day management as well as the production of fund raising events and more.
Over the years, Adi has managed election campaigns for various candidates in, for example, municipal elections in the town of Yehud, primaries for Party heads and more.
Adi also manages marketing projects and campaigns in the business sector such as furniture chains, real estate, etc...
